    Before founding AU Design, Wei Li served as an Executive Director at Aedas, one of the world’s top ten architectural design firms. As an industry benchmark, Aedas has delivered landmark projects across Asia-Pacific, Europe, North America, and the Middle East, including the Hong Kong West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Terminus and the Dubai International Financial Centre. Li led his team in renowned public projects such as Alibaba DAMO Academy and Shanghai Edge, as well as high-end villas and serviced apartment developments in China’s first-tier cities, alongside luxury hospitality designs for brands like Hyatt and Mandarin Oriental. These experiences have endowed him and his team with a unique understanding and design philosophy for premium living experiences. The establishment of AU Design enables Li, his partners, and the team to expand their design vision and expertise further in Australia. Upholding the belief that “Design Defines Value,” AU Design focuses on Australia’s high-end residential market, integrating optimal supply chains during the design phase to create unparalleled architectural and engineering solutions for clients.     Designer



    A senior professional furniture designer and the President of the Design Institute of Australia (DIA). He was formerly the Chief Designer for the renowned American brand BTR Nylex, held a management position at a Malaysian textile company for five years, and also served as the Marketing Director for an Australian commercial furniture company, leading marketing across the Asia Pacific region. He was the General Manager of the CDe Group and is an expert in the furniture manufacturing industry. He has also given lectures on furniture design at Monash University in Melbourne.

    Recipient of the Australian Institute of Architects - Gold Medal for Architecture. In recent years, his work has encompassed numerous educational buildings in the Sydney area, including the University of Sydney Law School Building, the University of New South Wales Tyree Energy Technologies Building, UTS Central at the University of Technology Sydney, and the Macquarie University Library. He believes that contemporary architecture should not only attempt to reconcile the relationship between people and nature but also reshape a vibrant public space for the community.

    Graduated with Honours from the University of Sydney (ranked 18th globally for Architecture/Built Environment in the 2019 QS World University Rankings by Subject) after successfully obtaining an undergraduate scholarship in Architecture. His significant design projects include the renowned Sydney Football Stadium and the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. In recent years, his advanced design concepts have also led to numerous landmark international projects, such as the Helix Bridge at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center in Taiwan, the National Maritime Museum of China in Tianjin, and the Sir John Monash Centre in France.
